ESNZ Membership - updated
Marlborough Endurance and Trail Riding Club is affiliated to Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) and all of our rides are ESNZ Points Rides as long as they fall before May 2nd each year. Riders and Horses must be ESNZ registered to ride Intermediate, Youth or Open, but may ride Novice, Training or Training Int. distance on an ESNZ day membership, indefinitely.
CTR horses and riders register as Training Horses and Senior Training Competitors, unless they are graded (1* or higher) endurance horse and riders. Juniors are under 18 years of age. There is also a horse start fee to Endurance NZ - this covers both CTR and Endurance, however, if registering for the first time (ie your horse doesn't have a log book) and wanting to do both CTR and Endurance you will need to get a one-off extra log book. Rider and Horse registration forms as well as Day Membership form are available to download from here. It will save you a lot of time on the day of ride to fill in your Day Membership form before the day and bring it along with you.
